"My partner and I had exceptional food here while in Rio. We tried a little of everything off the menu. The staff is amazing and attentive. Their desserts are also delicious. We came to eat here about 5 times during our stay and we will definitely be coming back when we return. The aesthetic at Beteco Belmonte is nice, but in our opinion, the food at Il Piccolo is some of the best."

"Tried their cheese plate, tempura and pizza capricciossa. Delicious, great atmosphere. Must try porn star Martini ! Highly recommend! Only thing is hard to communicate cause of language barrier. There is a barcode on the menu for English option."

"Very charming place! We had seafood, vegetable tempura, a cheese plate, and pizza. The pizza was absolutely delicious,super thin and fresh. I wish I had saved room for the tiramisu, but I was way too full. :("

"It's in a great spot by the beach. The waiters are super nice and we liked the restaurant's vibe. But, to be honest, the food didn't really meet our expectations. We ordered the fish of the day and pasta; the fish was just okay, and the pasta wasn't bad, but nothing special. Totally cool to hang out for a casual drinks and food, but I wouldn't expect a gourmet Italian dishes. Thanks!"

"Feels like you’re on The Cote Azure. We sat at the bar & immediately could smell the fresh ingredients coming from the craft cocktail bar. We were surprised to be asked if we prefer octopus or an oyster on top of the bloody mary. I love basil & it was very fragrant in the Basil Gin Smash. We ended up ordering more than we anticipated because everything sparked our appetite. Burrata was a great start & the rest was deliciously done. Can’t get over all the design details!"
